Description

Case No. 1879: Mr. Wong Ling, a 74-year-old retired teacher, led a modest life but nurtured many students throughout his career. He passed away due to geriatric disease, with no relatives to handle his final arrangements. We earnestly appeal to the generous people nationwide to contribute towards his funeral expenses, allowing Mr. Wong to rest in peace soon.

Wong Ling was a solitary elderly man who led a simple retirement life, often taking walks in the park and chatting with neighbors. As the years went by, his health gradually declined, making life increasingly difficult. He once tried to find a job to continue contributing to society, but due to age restrictions, he was unable to fulfil this wish.

Life is full of ups and downs, and it eventually comes to an end. On July 17, Mr. Wong passed away. That day, a neighbor noticed his door was half-open and, out of curiosity, went inside to check. Upon discovering that Mr. Wong showed no signs of life, an indescribable sadness filled the neighbors’ heart. He quickly informed other neighbors and contacted the authorities.

According to the death report, Mr. Wong Ling passed away at 3:30 p.m. on July 17 due to geriatric disease.

Mr. Wong Ling quietly departed this world. Despite his significant contributions to education, no one was aware of his passing at home. With no relatives to handle his final affairs, it is truly heartbreaking! Da Ai will take full responsibility for the funeral arrangements. We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, and cremation. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the entire funeral, please contact any of Da Ai’s social workers for more information. Thank you.

The prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall I) in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, July 19, 2024, followed by cremation on Saturday, July 20, 2024. The ashes will be scattered into the sea, allowing the deceased to find peace.
