Description
Case No. 2123: A newborn baby boy cannot speak yet, but he is already fighting to breathe! He urgently needs RM5,000 for tracheal surgery and medical expenses to overcome this life-threatening challenge. We earnestly plead with everyone to help save Arman. Without timely surgery, his life is at risk.
Muhamad Arman Muhamad Salim, not yet two months old, has been lying in a hospital bed, relying on a ventilator to stay alive. His dry lips, furrowed brows, and occasional cries show how much he struggles with the pain. His tiny body struggling like this is truly heartbreaking.
He does not understand why he is suffering, but he knows his mother is right beside him. His mother, filled with sorrow, can only gently place her hand on his fragile chest, afraid of disturbing his delicate breathing.
Two weeks ago, baby Arman suddenly developed breathing difficulties and was rushed to a nearby clinic. After examination, the doctor immediately referred him to the hospital. Tests confirmed he has Community Acquired Pneumonia along with Mild Laryngomalacia.
[He is their first child, but they are faced with the heaviest test.]Arman is the couple’s firstborn. His parents had been eagerly awaiting his arrival, never imagining that what awaited them would be operating rooms and anxious hospital stays. Their joy quickly turned into a heavy burden.
His father, Muhamad Salim Muhamad Shukur (32 years old), works as a sanitation worker, earning only a modest income to support the family. His mother, Shakirah Bibi Mohammad Jalil (20 years old), is a housewife. Since she does not speak the local language, she faces many limitations in daily life and depends solely on her husband’s meager earnings to sustain the household. The family holds identification under the UNHCR refugee status.
We have learnt that they cannot even afford the most basic medical expenses. With no other options left, and at the request of the parents, we are launching this fundraising appeal to help raise RM5,000 for Arman’s tracheal surgery and necessary medical treatment.
[Your kindness is his strength to live.]This is the most critical moment in Arman’s young life. Every act of compassion you extend becomes his strength to survive. Let us come together to help him through this hardship so that he can one day breathe freely without pain and grow up healthy.
We also hope you can help by sharing this appeal so that baby Arman may receive urgent assistance and be freed from danger as soon as possible. Thank you.
