Urgent! The Surgery Cannot Be Delayed—Please Save Little Yi Qing!

12-year-old Lin Yi Qing urgently needs RM75,000 for life-saving heart surgery. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals nationwide to extend a helping hand and give her the chance to regain a healthy heartbeat!

Case No. 1995: At the age of 6, Lin Yi Qing experienced discomfort, prompting her father to take her to the doctor. The doctor detected an irregular heartbeat, and after a thorough hospital examination, she was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease—Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), commonly known as a hole in the heart. Additionally, she also suffers from Aortic Valve Prolapse.

According to the doctor’s report, Lin Yi Qing requires urgent heart surgery to correct her congenital heart defect as soon as possible. If left untreated, her condition may worsen due to aortic valve prolapse. She must undergo Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) closure and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) ligation.

Due to her heart condition, her teachers and classmates take extra care of her at school. Since she cannot engage in strenuous activities, she can only sit on the sidelines during physical education classes, watching her classmates run and play. Each time, she feels sad and heartbroken, wondering why she was born with this illness.

【A Thoughtful Girl Who Longs to See Her Grandmother】

Yi Qing is a sensible and mature child. Her greatest hope is to undergo the surgery as soon as possible so she can regain her health and travel with her family to Vietnam, her mother’s hometown, to see her beloved grandmother. She does not want her elderly grandmother to worry about her health. She even reassures her father, telling him not to worry and that she will be fine.

【Parents in Deep Worry】

Yi Qing’s mother, Vo Thi Van, has always been extra cautious about her daughter’s health, ensuring she avoids excessive physical activity. Her greatest wish now is for her daughter to undergo the VSD closure surgery soon so she can grow up healthy.

Yi Qing’s father has been tirelessly taking her for follow-ups at government hospitals. However, due to the long waiting lists, he fears that further delays will increase the risks associated with the surgery. The doctor has strongly recommended immediate surgery and suggested transferring Yi Qing to a private hospital for timely treatment.

【Unable to Afford the High Surgery Costs】

Yi Qing’s father, Lim Sze Yuin (46 years old), and her mother, Vo Thi Van (29 years old), have two daughters—Yi Qing and her 8-year-old sister, Lin Yi Xin. The couple runs a small Vietnamese food stall at a hawker center, earning a modest income that is insufficient to cover their daughter’s overwhelming medical expenses.

Desperate for help, they reached out to us for assistance. Moved by their plight, we have launched this crowdfunding campaign to raise RM75,000 for Yi Qing’s heart surgery. We urgently seek support from generous individuals across the country to help this little girl get the life-saving treatment she needs.
