Description

“This Is Not My Home!” The hospital has agreed to let 14-year-old Theshivin A/L Ramesh return home after spending more than two years there. However, his father is unable to cover the cost of his future medical treatments. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals nationwide to generously donate RM7,200 to help.
Case No. 1982: Theshivin has undergone four intestinal surgeries and no longer needs a stoma bag. While the doctors have permitted him to return home, they have also warned that his intestinal obstruction requires special care to prevent bacterial infections, which could lead to severe consequences.
To ensure his well-being, Theshivin needs a clean, well-equipped sterile room at home. Thankfully, kind donors have provided all the necessary equipment. However, the family still faces a monthly medical expense of RM600. We committed to helping him crowdfund one year’s worth of medical costs.
Theshivin is a poor child who has suffered from intestinal disease for years. His life has revolved around hospital treatments—he cannot attend school, has no friends, and has been unable to reunite with his parents and sister. He longs to be discharged as soon as possible, to go to school like other children, to return home happily, and to be with his family once more.
【A Painful Journey That Began Years Ago】
A few years ago, Theshivin was in school when he suddenly experienced severe abdominal pain and collapsed during a physical education class. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed acute appendicitis, requiring immediate surgery. However, his recovery did not go well—his abdomen became increasingly swollen, his appetite declined, and he eventually could not keep any food down. This led to another hospitalization, where he was diagnosed with Bowel Dysmotility.
His mother, Pavitra, shared that due to limited medical facilities at the initial hospital, Theshivin was transferred to a larger hospital for further examination. There, doctors confirmed that he also suffered from malnourished and cachexia.
Two years ago, we had helped by donating the stoma bags he needed. However, he has remained hospitalized ever since.
【Father Works as a Welder】
Theshivin’s mother, Pavitra, had to quit her job long ago to care for him. His father, Ramesh, is a welding worker, earning a meagre income that barely supports the family, which includes Theshivin’s younger sister, who is still in school. With no other options, the family has once again turned to us for help.
Moved by their struggles, We have decided to step in once more to help crowdfund Theshivin’s medical expenses.
We urgently appeal to kind-hearted individuals across the country to help Theshivin reunite with his family and continue his treatment at home. Please share this plea with others so more people can learn about his plight and extend their support.
Thank you!
