Description
Urgent Appeal! We kindly ask for your generosity to help a two-month-old baby boy undergo a tracheostomy surgery to overcome a critical health challenge. He urgently needs RM20,750 for surgery and medical expenses, and we sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals nationwide for donations.
Case No. 1980: At just two weeks old, Muhammad Hujaif exhibited breathing difficulties with abnormal sounds. After being admitted to the hospital, he was diagnosed with congenital left vocal cord palsy. Doctors have advised that he must undergo an airway examination and tracheostomy surgery to prevent further deterioration, as the consequences could be severe.
The baby underwent an examination at the government paediatric ENT hospital on January 2, 2025. However, his breathing difficulties have not improved, and he now relies on an oxygen machine for support. Since his parents cannot afford to purchase a home-use infant oxygen machine, doctors have strongly recommended surgery as the only solution to address his bronchial inflammation and breathing difficulties.
Currently, Muhammad Hujaif remains under hospital observation and will soon be transferred to a larger hospital for surgery.
[Father’s Low Income Makes Medical Costs Unaffordable]
Muhammad Hujaif’s father, Yasir Arafat, is a gardener with a monthly income of only RM750, while his mother, Md Fubib, is a homemaker who takes care of their children. Muhammad Hujaif is their second child, and they also have a three-year-old son.
Facing severe financial hardship, the parents are unable to bear the overwhelming medical costs. In their desperation, they reached out to us for assistance, hoping to help their baby survive this difficult time. Our organization has decided to extend our support to this poor yet adorable baby who is struggling to breathe with the following breakdown:
- Medical Expenses: RM12,000
- Surgery Cost: RM8,000
- Suction Machine: RM750
- Total: RM20,750
We earnestly appeal to the generosity of kind-hearted individuals to contribute towards the surgery and medical equipment expenses so that this little one can receive the life-saving treatment he needs.
