Urgent Call to Save a Life!
A 4-month-old baby boy, tortured by congenital heart defects, is struggling to eat, sleep, and survive. He urgently needs heart surgery to stay alive. We sincerely appeal for your help!

During feedings, he vomits, and at night, he wakes up several times in distress. This ordeal is agonizing for both the baby and his parents. Racing against time, the baby is awaiting life-saving surgery. We urgently seek RM85,000 in donations to fund his heart surgery and save this precious life.

Case No. 1970: Baby boy c was urgently admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at birth and diagnosed with three major heart-related conditions:

  1. Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) – A 4mm hole in his heart.
  2. Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA)
  3. Pulmonary Stenosis

According to medical reports, Jacob must undergo heart surgery to correct his congenital defects. This includes stitching the VSD, tying off the PDA, and reconstructing the right ventricular outflow tract.

【Feeding is Painful and Often Leads to Vomiting】

Jacob is the first child of TEO WAI KIDD (36 years old) and CHEE SIU HUI (35 years old), a couple married for two years. While they were overjoyed to welcome their baby in August this year, their world shattered when doctors diagnosed Jacob with life-threatening heart issues.

His father shared that caring for Jacob requires extreme caution due to his multiple conditions, including a prior lung infection. Unlike other babies, Jacob struggles to drink even small amounts of milk and frequently vomits. Each feeding is a painful ordeal, and due to inadequate intake, his father must feed him 7-8 times a day. Despite this effort, Jacob weighs only 4.8kg at four months—far below the standard.

Jacob’s heart defects and pulmonary artery narrowing often cause oxygen deprivation, making his breathing laboured and his lips turn blue, terrifying his parents.

Parents Trained in CPR

Before Jacob was discharged, doctors trained his parents in CPR to prepare them for emergencies at home. This has left the new parents in constant worry. Jacob’s mother wept while recounting their struggles, and his father, though anxious and overwhelmed, tried to hide his tears to stay strong for his wife.

A Dimmed Spirit

A few years ago, Jacob’s father, Wai Kidd, suffered from severe cervical spine disease, leaving him unable to lift his arms. After numerous treatments, his condition improved, and he planned to return to work. However, Jacob’s health crisis has kept him at home, fully dedicated to his care. The family relies solely on his wife’s income as a commercial planner.

The couple had already exhausted their savings on Wai Kidd’s medical treatments and Jacob’s hospital expenses. Now, they are unable to afford the enormous cost of Jacob’s surgery. Overwhelmed and desperate, they have lost the joy they once felt welcoming Jacob into the world. They no longer celebrate holidays or birthdays; their only wish is for Jacob to undergo surgery and grow up healthy.

The couple has only one wish: for their baby to undergo surgery in time and grow up healthy. Overwhelmed by the enormous surgical costs and feeling helpless, they are seeking help from us, hoping to save their son’s life through crowdfunding. We will be raising RM85,000 for the baby’s heart surgery. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals across the nation to generously contribute.

We urge compassionate individuals to generously contribute and help share this message to reach more kind-hearted people. Every second counts. Your support can save a life. Thank you!
