Description
No more delays! She urgently needs a hearing aid. An 8-year-old girl, now in her second year of primary school, has been deaf in her right ear since birth. We sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals to donate RM7,000 to help her purchase a hearing aid so she can study and live a normal life.
Case No. 1949: Nishaa A/P Suhananthah was born with a hearing impairment. Nature did not bless her with a perfect pair of ears. She has been deaf in her right ear due to a condition where there is no ear canal, and her outer ear is fully sealed. Since birth, her right ear has had no hearing ability. Coming from a poor family, they cannot afford a hearing aid, leaving her to struggle day after day. Now that she is growing up, her condition is seriously affecting her studies and daily life—this cannot be delayed any further!
This is a crucial time in Nishaa’s education, and it is extremely important for this intelligent and well-behaved girl. Although she is determined and works very hard, relying only on her left ear is insufficient. In a large classroom filled with students, she struggles to hear what the teacher says. Nishaa has cried to her mother, saying the classroom is too noisy and she cannot hear clearly. What can be done? Her academic performance has been good, but if her hearing does not improve, her progress will inevitably be affected.
According to the medical report, Nishaa has been diagnosed with Microtia Grade III, Ipsilateral Bony External Ear Canal Atresia. A hearing aid is essential for her to hear.
[Surgery at 18 years old]
Her parents are not unwilling to seek treatment, but the expensive surgical costs have left them with no choice but to delay surgery until Nishaa turns 18. They hope that by then, the family’s financial situation will improve enough to afford the surgery. Following the doctor’s advice, they are now trying to urgently purchase a hearing aid for Nishaa.
[A Struggling Family Unable to Afford a Hearing Aid]
Nishaa has a 4-year-old younger brother. Her mother, Santhi A/P Panirselvam (39 years old), not only cares for the family but also works in a factory. Her husband, who is of the same age, works as a car mechanic. Together, their income is barely enough to support their family of four, leaving them unable to afford a hearing aid.
Nishaa’s mother is extremely worried about her daughter’s situation. Feeling helpless, she reached out to us for assistance. We have decided to crowdfund RM7,000 to purchase a hearing aid (ADHEAR) for Nishaa and sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals to help. We also kindly ask everyone to share this message so that the crowdfunding target can be met quickly. With your help, this little girl can soon receive a hearing aid, allowing her to enjoy school, grow happily, and have a brighter future. Thank you.
