Description

The body of an elderly Chinese man, already in a state of decomposition, was discovered along a riverbank and has remained unclaimed at the hospital. We earnestly appeal to kind-hearted people nationwide to donate to his funeral, allowing him to rest in peace soon.

Case No. 1930: On the afternoon of October 3, police discovered the body of a 70-year-old man, Chew Keng An, at a riverbank dock in Port Klang, Selangor. Efforts were made to locate his relatives or friends, but, unfortunately, no one could be found, nor is his real Chinese name known.

Hospital authorities were also unable to locate any of the deceased’s family members, and his body has remained unclaimed in the hospital morgue for over a month. Out of compassion, the hospital has entrusted us to handle his funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

According to the death report, Mr. Chew Keng An passed away at 2 p.m. on October 3, but the cause of death remains undetermined due to the body’s advanced state of decomposition.

We did not know Mr. Chew personally, but it is truly saddening that an elderly man, with no family to bid him farewell, passed away alone. His body, left exposed on the riverbank and remaining unclaimed at the hospital, stirs a deep sense of sorrow in our hearts.

Da Ai will take full responsibility for the funeral arrangements. We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, cremation, and ash placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the entire funeral, please contact any of Da Ai’s social workers for more information. Thank you.

The prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall XX) in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, November 14, 2024, followed by cremation on Friday, November 15, 2024. The ashes will be placed at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor.
