Description
Every day, the mother gives her baby a tearful kiss, feeling immense heartache! We earnestly plead for the generous people across the nation to urgently donate RM80,000 for heart surgery to save the life of a 4-month-old baby whose life is in grave danger, so he can soon return to his mother’s arms.
Case No. 1915: Baby Boy IMAAN HUSSAIN NABI HUSSAIN is currently lying in a hospital bed in the intensive care unit, awaiting urgent surgery. Without the operation, his life is at risk. His mother visits him daily, unwilling to leave. As she departs, she kisses him on the forehead, tears streaming down her face, breaking her heart. We implore kind-hearted individuals to save this child and help him overcome this critical challenge!
When the baby was born, he showed no abnormalities. However, a little over a month ago, while drinking milk, he suddenly experienced severe breathing difficulties. His parents immediately rushed him to the hospital for treatment.
According to the doctor’s report, baby Imaan has a hole in his heart—a condition known as Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), or a hole in the heart’s septum. He urgently needs a VSD closure procedure. Without surgery, this condition will lead to irreversible damage, affecting his lungs and causing further breathing difficulties, endangering his life.
Imaan is a newborn and cannot speak, but he can feel his mother’s love. He wants to live, to one day call out “Mama” himself. His mother, ZAHIDAH BEGUM MAQBOOL (30 years old), is a housewife. Imaan is her third child with her husband. They have two other sons, aged 7 and 5, who are being cared for by family back home.
Imaan’s father, NABI, came to this country seeking better income so he could provide a better life for his wife and children back home. However, because his wife missed him deeply after years apart, she came to this country to reunite with him, and they welcomed their third baby. Sadly, the baby was diagnosed with this life-threatening heart condition, a piece of devastating news the parents found hard to accept.
[The mother doesn’t speak the local language, her face covered with tears as she expresses her sorrow and helplessness.]
ZAHIDAH, having only recently arrived in this country, doesn’t understand the local language or know how to express herself. Seeing her baby lying in a hospital bed, covered with tubes and reliant on a ventilator to stay alive, she is overwhelmed with grief and cannot stop crying.
The baby’s father, NABI HUSSAIN FAZUL HAQUL (53 years old), told social workers that his wife cries every day at home. He too feels utterly helpless. NABI works as a sanitation worker, earning very little, and they cannot afford the enormous cost of heart surgery. They know that without the surgery, their baby’s life is at greater risk with each passing day, but they simply cannot manage the huge expenses. In desperation, they have turned to Da Ao for assistance, pleading for the help of kind-hearted people to save their child.
[Saving a life is a noble act. We hope the baby can be saved!]
On behalf of Imaan’s parents, we have launched this crowdfunding campaign, hoping that kind-hearted individuals across the nation can help save this poor baby’s life. The RM80,000 cost for the heart surgery is overwhelming, so we kindly ask everyone to share this appeal so that more people can come forward to help. Let’s work together to meet the fundraising target and help the baby escape this life-threatening situation. Thank you!
