We urgently request everyone’s help! A 4-year-old girl still receiving treatment in the hospital for goitre urgently needs a change of nutritional formula. We kindly ask for donations to cover the cost of the formula and medical expenses, totalling RM 6,100.
Case No. 1891: Since February this year, the young girl Yhashika A/P Selventhiran has been diagnosed with thyroid swelling (Grave’s disease), commonly known as goitre. This condition has caused her heart to beat faster and led to lung issues, requiring her to be admitted to the intensive care unit. She remains in the hospital for close monitoring. Due to the family’s financial difficulties, her father cannot afford the necessary expenses. We earnestly appeal to kind-hearted individuals across the nation to help this little girl through this challenging time.
Yhashika is a lively and adorable girl, but she has suffered from the swelling in her neck for five months, enduring constant pain. Her body often feels hot, leading to frequent fevers and colds, and she easily becomes irritable. She cannot be discharged because of her abnormal heart rate. The pain has caused significant weight loss, leaving her parents deeply worried and heartbroken. Yhashika often suffers from diarrhoea, making it difficult for her to absorb nutrients, which is detrimental to her condition. The doctor has advised her mother to switch to a high-nutrition formula for Yhashika.
Her mother, Hashwini Nair A/P Sasikrishnan, and her father, Selventhiran, have three children, with Yhashika being the youngest. Since Yhashika was hospitalized, her mother had to quit her factory job to take care of her, leaving the family of five reliant on her father as the sole breadwinner.
Yhashika’s father is a truck driver with a meagre income, which barely supports the family and leaves him unable to cover the medical and high-nutrition formula costs. Therefore, the parents are seeking help from Da Ai, hoping we can assist their daughter through this difficult period.
We aim to raise funds for Yhashika as follows:

Special formula cost: RM 3,600 (RM 120 x 30 cans)
