Description

Case No. 1853: Chin See Keow, an elderly man living alone without any relatives, passed away at home. As there is no one to handle his funeral arrangements, we kindly ask generous individuals nationwide to donate to his funeral so that the elderly man can complete his final journey and find peace soon.

Chin See Keow, who was 73 years old, lived in an upstairs shophouse. His passing went unnoticed for a considerable time, reflecting his unfortunate circumstances. Neighbors, realizing they had not seen him for a long while, knocked on his door but received no response. Upon opening the door, they discovered that the elderly man had passed away. The neighbors then informed the police, who then transported the deceased’s body to the hospital for examination.

According to the death report issued by the hospital, Chin See Keow passed away at 3:20 PM on May 11 due to coronary artery atherosclerosis. Since he was alone with no family to handle his funeral, his body has been in the hospital mortuary for half a month. A kind-hearted person notified us and hoped that we could arrange the funeral for him so that he could rest in peace.

Da Ai will take full responsibility for the funeral arrangements. We are handling the whole funeral process for the deceased, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, cremation, and ash placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.

If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers at Da Ai for more information. Thank you.

The elderly’s prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall XX) in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, followed by cremation on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. The ashes will be placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery, Kuala Lumpur.
