Description
Case No. 1848: A baby girl was born at full term but, unfortunately, had a very weak heartbeat. Despite the doctors’ efforts to resuscitate her for half an hour, she tragically passed away, leaving her parents heartbroken. The couple is unable to afford the unexpected funeral expenses and is pleading for donations from kind-hearted individuals to help their baby rest in peace soon.
Lim Yu Xuan was just born and had no chance to see this beautiful world before becoming an angel. She was the first child of her parents, a new life that departed swiftly, like a shooting star across the night sky. Her parents, who didn’t have the opportunity to celebrate her arrival, are now engulfed in sorrow and struggling to accept this tragic reality. Currently, her mother is still receiving treatment in the hospital.
The baby’s father, Lim Jian Cai (28 years old), shared with the social worker that his wife, Tiong Bing (30 years old), was admitted to the hospital on May 18 due to abdominal pain in anticipation of their baby’s birth.
Despite waiting for a long time, Tiong Bing’s cervix had only dilated three centimeters. The doctors indicated that it needed to dilate further for a natural birth and administered an oxytocin injection. Two days later, on Monday, May 20, at 6 a.m., after assessing Tiong Bing’s condition, the doctors decided to perform a C-section. When the baby was born, her heartbeat was extremely weak, and despite a half-hour of resuscitation efforts, she could not be saved.
According to the death report, the baby passed away at 6:46 a.m. on May 20, with the cause of death being early neonatal death.
Lim Jian Cai and Tiong Bing, in their grief, want to provide a proper farewell for their baby, hoping she finds eternal happiness and peace in the afterlife.
Lim Jian Cai works as a salesperson, and his wife is an office clerk. Their modest income is insufficient to cover the funeral expenses for their beloved baby. In their helplessness, they are reaching out to Da Ai for assistance, hoping we can help arrange a ceremony and funeral for the baby to ease her suffering and help her find peace.
Da Ai will take full responsibility for the funeral arrangements. We are handling the whole funeral process for the baby, which includes body transfer, prayer ceremony, cremation, and scattering the ashes into the sea. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so the baby can rest in peace soon.
If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers at Da Ai for more information. Thank you.
The baby’s prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlor (Hall H) in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, followed by cremation on Thursday, May 23, 2024. The ashes will be scattered into the sea, allowing the departed to return to the embrace of nature.
