Description

Urgent! A 5-month-old baby boy, Muhammad Fattah Bin Muhammad Fikry, is suffering from “Evolving Cerebral Palsy” and requires RM 2500 to purchase a feeding pump for sustenance. We earnestly appeal to compassionate individuals nationwide for donations.

Case No. 1778: Muhammad Fattah, who was admitted to the hospital at birth due to respiratory difficulties, has been diagnosed with Evolving Cerebral Palsy and remains in the neonatal intensive care unit, unable to return home. He urgently needs a feeding pump, but due to financial hardship, his parents cannot afford one. We implore everyone to support the crowdfunding.

Doctors suggest that Muhammad Fattah’s Evolving Cerebral Palsy is likely secondary to underlying brain anomalies, Moebius Syndrome, severe gastroesophageal reflux, and laryngomalacia.

Due to the severity of his condition, the baby can no longer rely on the previous nasogastric tube feeding method and requires long-term feeding through a feeding pump.

Before being diagnosed with Evolving Cerebral Palsy, the baby faced respiratory challenges and was diagnosed with pneumonia at birth. In addition to breathing issues, he experiences symptoms such as central hypotonia, limb weakness, and a lack of facial muscle strength. He also lacks the ability to suck and swallow, with a vomiting reflex necessitating frequent clearing due to the inability to swallow and the accumulation of secretions. To address this, Da Ai provided a suction machine to the parents when Fattah was one month old, assisting them in addressing the urgent situation. Currently, the baby is still receiving treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Muhammad Fikry Bin Z, the baby’s father, works as a delivery rider, while Musaiyana Binti Munapis, the mother, is a housewife. They also have a 2-year-old child. With only the father’s meager income supporting the family, the expenses are challenging.

The baby’s condition shows no improvement, causing great distress to the parents. Unable to afford the cost of the feeding pump, the financially strained parents have reluctantly sought assistance from Da Ai. At their request, we have initiated a crowdfunding campaign, hoping that the public can help purchase the feeding pump for this unfortunate child.

Muhammad Fattah began receiving treatment in the hospital at one month old and is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the feeding pump, which, once stable, will allow him to be discharged and return home. The parents anxiously await the day when their child can be reunited with the family.

We also hope that kind-hearted individuals can help share this plea for assistance, ensuring that the message reaches as many people as possible and enabling the prompt acquisition of the feeding pump for the baby. Thank you.
