Description
A father passed away tragically before the arrival of 2024. Due to the impoverished family circumstances, we earnestly request assistance for the funeral and related expenses.
Case No. 1777: Father Tang Chee Hong succumbed to a bacterial infection in the lungs and passed away two weeks after being admitted to the hospital. Due to the inability of the children to bear the sudden funeral expenses, we sincerely appeal to kind-hearted individuals to donate as much as they are able so Mr. Tang can rest in peace soon.
At the age of 59, Tang Chee Hong was a construction worker who had stopped working and was resting at home due to mobility issues caused by a stroke. Two weeks ago, he experienced difficulty breathing, diarrhea, and inability to eat at home. Witnessing the situation, the children admitted him to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he passed away just three days before the new year and not long before the Lunar New Year, leaving his spouse and children deeply saddened.
Tang Chee Hong has four children. His eldest son, Tang Kin Leong, is an installation worker with a meager income. He told the social workers of Da Ai that he has his own family and two children to support, and the family’s expenses rely solely on his modest income. The other siblings have minimal income, coupled with unstable employment, making it impossible for them to bear the sudden funeral expenses. In their utmost helplessness, they have entrusted Da Ai to handle the funeral arrangements for their father.
According to the death report, Mr. Tang Chee Hong passed away on December 28th at 5:23 PM due to septic shock secondary to right lobar pneumonia.
We are handling the whole funeral process for Mr. Tang Chee Hong, which includes body transfer, cremation, prayer ceremony, and ash placement. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate to the funeral so he can rest in peace soon.
If anyone is interested in donating for the whole funeral, kindly contact any social workers at Da Ai for more information. Thank you.
Mr. Tang Chee Hong’s prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlour (Hall XX) in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, December 29, 2023, followed by cremation on Saturday, December 30, 2023. The ashes will be placed at Kwong Tong Cemetery Kuala Lumpur.
