Baby’s Homecoming – Urgent Appeal for Assistance!

Case No. 1746: A premature baby girl struggles with severe illnesses, facing critical conditions. We urgently request your support to raise RM29,200.00 for medical expenses and equipment to save her precious life.

ADELYA BINTI SUFIAN was born prematurely at 29 weeks and is now 11 months old. Since her birth, she has been lying in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) receiving critical care. Tubes have been inserted into her nose and mouth. Due to her parents’ inability to cover her expenses, we implore kind-hearted people to help them.

The arrival of this new life initially brought immense joy to her parents, but unfortunately, ADELYA has been afflicted with multiple illnesses due to her premature birth, causing great distress to her parents. The baby is suffering from:

  1. Severe chronic lung disease
  2. A CRE carrier
  3. Anemia of prematurity
  4. Rickets of prematurity
  5. Presumed GERD

Her serious medical conditions have turned the hospital’s NICU into her temporary home. Why should a baby, only 11 months old, be unable to return to her own home? It is all due to the complications resulting from her premature birth. Her mother, SITI NUR NADHIRAH (32 years old), recalls an incident when ADELYA’s breathing temporarily stopped and family members rushed to the hospital. Fortunately, she survived.

ADELYA’s misfortune was not of her choosing. She yearns to leave her current suffering behind and return home. We earnestly implore the enthusiastic public to help save her life and change her fate.

Mother SITI NUR NADHIRAH hopes for her baby to return home and be reunited with her family soon. She explains that this child was hard-won for her and her husband after experiencing multiple miscarriages, bringing them immense sorrow.

Due to her premature birth, doctors have warned of a high risk of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection in her airways, which can lead to severe lung problems, heart issues, or even life-threatening conditions. To ensure the baby’s safety, she must receive the PALIVIZUMAB (SYNAGIS VACCINE) injections, totaling five doses.

Doctors have also informed the social worker that, due to her chronic lung disease, ADELYA will require a BIPAP MACHINE to assist her breathing even after being discharged. Her parents must be vigilant in caring for her to ensure her breathing remains smooth and to prevent any life-threatening situations. The baby also requires an ENTERAL FEEDING PUMP and a SUCTION MACHINE for her care.

Mother SITI NUR NADHIRAH is an ordinary employee who works from home to assist the company. Her husband, SUFIAN BIN SUKRI (33 years old), is a pet groomer. Their income is not high enough to cover the expensive medical expenses and necessary medical equipment for their baby. The couple feels helpless, sad, and guilty. Therefore, they turn to Da Ai for help and entrust us to raise funds for ADELYA.

Details of the crowdfunding campaign are as follows:

SYNAGIS VACCINE: RM18,800.00

BIPAP MACHINE: RM7,000.00

ENTERAL FEEDING PUMP: RM2,500.00

SUCTION MACHINE: RM900.00

Total: RM29,200.00

We believe in the kindness of humanity and the warmth that can be found everywhere. Hence, we implore the kind-hearted public to generously contribute, providing the necessary funds to ensure her recovery from life-threatening conditions and a swift return home. Let her grow happily, just like other little babies.

Kindly share this message so that more compassionate individuals are willing to lend their helping hands. Thank you.
