Case No. 1736: Urgent Appeal for Assistance! A newborn baby who was born with a severe abdominal defect where the large intestine and bladder are exposed outside of her body. We humbly implore everyone to donate RM6,000 towards the surgical expenses to aid in repairing her abdomen and safeguarding her life.
Due to the gravity of the situation, doctors have placed the exposed organs back inside the abdomen to prevent bacterial infection. However, little Tiara Nur Afia, who is just one month old, requires surgery to repair her abdominal condition. Her single mother is unable to afford this cost and is desperately seeking assistance from kind-hearted individuals.
The surgery to repair the abdominal defect (Gastroschisis) requires RM8,000. Tiara’s mother, Hayati Binti Hadatakin, a 43-year-old single mother, has managed to raise only RM2,000 through her tireless efforts. She has done everything in her power but still falls short by RM6,000.
Hayati was overjoyed upon expecting her first baby girl. However, the shock was immense when Tiara was born with a protruding abdominal defect, with the large intestine and bladder exposed externally. This unforeseen situation has left Hayati deeply concerned and feeling helpless. She is determined to save her daughter but is unable to cover the entire cost of the necessary surgery.
As a janitor, Hayati’s income is meagre, and managing her day-to-day life as a single parent is already a challenge. The financial burden of her daughter’s medical expenses is overwhelming. With no other options, she turns to Da Ai for assistance, hoping that through crowdfunding, compassionate individuals nationwide can extend a helping hand to save her daughter’s life.
Currently, the baby’s abdominal opening is temporarily closed, but the risk of further complications remains high. Hayati lives in constant worry, enduring sleepless nights. Tiara is her only flesh and blood, and losing her is unthinkable.

The infant underwent abdominal repair surgery as a precaution to ensure her health. The procedure was quite successful, and the baby has since been returned to her mother with the best wishes for a long and healthy life.
