Case No. 1732: After the passing of her father due to liver cancer at the hospital, the youngest daughter is unable to bear the burden of funeral expenses. She earnestly implores for donations.
Mr. Chay Thiam Fook, 68 years old, was admitted to the hospital for liver disease treatment. Unfortunately, one month later, he succumbed to the illness, leaving his youngest daughter, who had been taking care of her elderly parents, incapable of handling the sudden funeral costs. She sincerely requests that kind-hearted individuals donate to the funeral of her father so he can rest in peace soon.
The deceased, Mr. Chay Thiam Fook, suffered a stroke ten years ago, leaving him partially paralyzed and unable to work. He had a son and two daughters, and their lives have been challenging. Normally, the living expenses of the parents were covered by the youngest daughter, Natasha Chay Ann Li. However, she is just an ordinary employee with a meagre income.
A month ago, Mr. Chay was admitted to the hospital for liver issues, and after escorting him to the hospital, Natasha anxiously awaited his return home for a family reunion. However, on Saturday, July 22, at noon, she received a call from the hospital urging the family to come quickly. Natasha informed her siblings and accompanied her mother to the hospital to see her father. By the time they arrived, he had already lost consciousness, and the doctors informed them of his passing, leaving the family in profound grief and sorrow.
According to the death report, Mr. Chay Thiam Fook passed away on July 22 at 1.07 p.m. due to Hepatocellular carcinoma.

Mr. Chay Thiam Fook’s prayer ceremony will be held at Kwong Tong Funeral Parlour Kuala Lumpur (Hall G) on Monday, July 24, 2023, followed by cremation on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. The family will arrange for the ashes placement.

The deceased’s wife and kids , are pleased of the contributions made by individuals all around the nation that enabled her father to rest in peace.
