Case No. 1727: Urgent! The baby girl, who is not even a month old, is facing increasing urgency for her second heart surgery. We earnestly appeal to kind-hearted individuals for urgent donations in order to save her life.
Tee Miin Yue is unfortunate to suffer from severe congenital heart disease. Although the first surgery was highly successful, she still needs a second surgery to close the heart defect, known as a heart septal closure operation, in order to overcome the life-threatening situation. However, her parents are no longer able to afford the second surgery, which costs RM100,000. We earnestly request kind-hearted individuals nationwide to urgently donate and help save this baby girl’s life.
Due to the baby’s low weight, we currently have to wait until she reaches 3 kg before proceeding with the second surgery. However, that day is fast approaching. Her parents are well aware that the most critical issue at the moment is how to manage the substantial surgical expenses, as there is currently no source of funding available.
Previously, baby Tee Miin Yue underwent her first heart surgery in an extremely urgent situation. The first surgery was a great success, but it cost nearly RM100,000.
Obtaining funds for the first surgery was not easy for her father, Jim, and her mother, Jean. They exhausted their savings, accumulated over many years, and sought help from relatives and friends to manage the costs.
Miin Yue’s parents are both salespeople with limited income. They simply cannot bear the financial burden of a second surgery of the same magnitude. Moreover, their relatives and friends have already helped tremendously during the first surgery, making it difficult to seek assistance again within a short period of time.
The couple has been married for five years, and Miin Yue is their first baby. Her arrival brought them immense joy and happiness. Perhaps she was a blessing bestowed upon them after many years of marriage. Unfortunately, after her birth, it was diagnosed that she suffered from a severe congenital heart disease, which caused her pain from the very beginning and posed a danger to her life.
Jim told the social worker that seeing those needles inserted into the baby’s body felt like they were piercing his own heart. Jean, the mother, has been extremely worried as the baby has been in the neonatal intensive care unit since birth. Just the thought of the baby brings her heartache and tears. Seeing his wife’s pain, Jim also feels helpless and unsure of what to do, but he hopes the baby will undergo the surgery quickly and recover.
Jim and Jean are both salespersons from Johor. Due to the urgency of the baby’s heart condition, she had to be transferred to a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur to receive specialized treatment. Jim has to leave work every week to come to Kuala Lumpur to visit his daughter, constantly rushing back and forth. Along with his worries about the surgery’s cost, he is truly mentally and physically exhausted.
The doctor has confirmed that Miin Yue suffers from Coarctation of the Aorta (CO-AO) and a ventricular septal defect (VSD), commonly known as a heart septal defect.
The first surgery successfully repaired the coarctation of the aorta, and now the second surgery is to close the heart septal defect. The first heart surgery for their daughter was highly successful, but they still need to overcome the second challenge.
Jim and his wife are no longer able to afford the expenses for the second surgery. In a state of helplessness, they are seeking assistance from Da Ai. Da Ai will launch a crowdfunding campaign for baby Tee Miin Yue and earnestly appeal to kind-hearted individuals nationwide to generously donate and help save this precious little life.

The second surgery successfully closed the heart septal defect, known as a heart septal closure operation, in order to overcome the life-threatening situation. We are extremely appreciative of the generous donors from throughout the nation who covered the operation expense for Tee Miin Yue.
Due to her urgent situation during the fundraising period, Miin Yue underwent an operation that was a great success. The parents of Miin Yue are very appreciative of all the donations, we hope Miin Yue leads a happy and safe life.
