Koh Hock Ann, who is only 22 years old, suffered from congenital heart disease when he was born. After many cardiovascular operations, his condition has been stabled for a while. However, now he has a heart disease recurrence and an upper respiratory tract viral infection and has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Because the elderly and retired parents are unable to cope with the RM20,000 in medical expenses, we sincerely ask enthusiastic people to donate urgently.
Koh Hock Ann can’t live his life happily like other young people because he was born with a congenital heart defect and a severely bent back. He was tortured by various diseases and suffered unspeakably.
He has undergone 4 major cardiovascular surgeries, which have caused him to suffer from frequent asthma attacks and make his body very weak. He was frequently infected with bacteria and was unable to move for several days in the hospital bed. Because of being entangled by illness, Koh Hock Ann could not complete primary and secondary education like other ordinary people.
Despite having parents who love and care for him unconditionally, the 22-year-old young man has ideals. He really wants to travel and explore this beautiful world, but he is seriously ill, and it is difficult to realize his dream at present. Hock Ann asked the sky in silence why he was so unhappy and why he was falling ill after falling ill. From birth until now, he has been entangled in serious diseases and forced to give up his studies. Time seems to be the incarnation of pain.
Hock Ann, from Muar, Johor, is now suffering from viral respiratory tract infections and has been sent to the hospital. After a careful examination by the doctor, he also suffered from post viral cardiomyopathy and post viral wheezing. Because Muar Hospital lacked the support of cardiologists to deal with the complex congenital heart disease that appeared in Koh Hock Ann, the doctor advised the patient to go to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment.
Koh Hock Ann’s father raised a total of five children—four girls and one boy—and Hock Ann is the youngest. His mother is a housewife, and Hock Ann is the only son in the family, and his mother loves him very much. The mother was concerned about her son’s illness and did everything she could to care for him.
Koh Hock Ann’s father, Koh Song See, is 63 years old, and his mother, Kho Tsuey Har, is 58 years old. Both are retirees who cannot afford medical expenses. The four older sisters are married, but their lives are also very difficult. They cannot provide long-term help to the younger brother, nor can they afford the younger brother’s medical expenses. In their helplessness, Hock Ann’s parents turned to us for help. According to the doctor’s report, Koh Hock Ann’s health condition is very serious and complicated and must be treated without delay. The medical fee needs to be RM20,000.00.
