Description

An urgent plea for assistance! A one-month-old baby boy is in critical condition, and there is a heartfelt request for donations of RM80,000 to cover the surgical costs needed to repair his Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage (TAPVD) in order to save his life.

Case No. 1762: Just born in September, baby boy MUHAMMAD FATH DHANI is lying in the intensive care unit, suffering with numerous tubes and wires attached to his body, causing immense worry and heartache for his parents. Due to their inability to afford the substantial surgical fees, they earnestly implore kind-hearted people nationwide to come forward and assist in saving the baby’s life. Thank you.

The baby, MUHAMMAD FATH DHANI BIN MUHAMMAD FARHAN, is diagnosed with Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage (TAPVD). To stabilise his condition, doctors have inserted tubes and wires into his body, connecting him to medical and monitoring equipment. Doctors insist that the baby must undergo surgery urgently to ensure he is out of imminent danger.

When the mother, NUR FAIQAH AZWIN BINTI MOHD BAHARUM, shared the baby’s condition with our social workers, she couldn’t contain her sorrow and tears, deeply afraid of losing her child. Beside her, her husband, MUHAMMAD FARHAN BIN AB RAHAMAN, while comforting his wife, is tormented by the situation. He, too, has shed tears several times but refrains from doing so in public.

NUR explained that no anomalies were detected at the baby’s birth. It was only after a month that the baby started experiencing rapid breathing and signs of respiratory distress, with no growth in his body. Concerned that it might be a lung infection, they rushed him to the hospital for an examination. Upon assessment in the emergency room, the baby was immediately transferred to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The final medical report revealed that the baby suffers from a critical issue of pulmonary venous drainage, necessitating urgent surgery to avert a life-threatening situation.

The baby’s critical condition has left the couple in a state of despair. The father, MUHAMMAD FARHAN, works as a deliveryman, earning a meager income. His wife, NUR, is a homemaker. They also have a three-year-old son to care for. Managing their daily lives is already a challenge, and they cannot afford the substantial surgery expenses for their newborn. They turned to our Da Ai in the hope that we could help raise RM80,000 to cover the costs of TAPVD pulmonary vein repair surgery for their baby.

The baby remains in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, unable to return home. Every day, the parents long to see their baby, but witnessing their child in pain and distress causes unbearable heartache. The mix of love and pain is an excruciating experience, one the couple has never endured before.

The baby has a three-year-old brother who is aware of his sibling’s illness. Before his admission to the hospital, the brother used to affectionately kiss the baby. Now, not seeing his sibling, he constantly asks his parents about where his brother has gone and when he will return. He carries the concern, wishing for his brother’s swift return.

Faced with the daunting challenge of the surgery costs, the baby’s parents are anxious and at a loss. When Da Ai confirmed the crowdfunding initiative for the baby, they were moved beyond words, expressing their profound gratitude!

The parents of baby MUHAMMAD FATH DHANI have entrusted us to conduct the entire crowdfunding process, earnestly pleading for the compassionate support of people nationwide to save this precious life and assist a family that has hit rock bottom in finding a glimmer of hope and sunshine once more. Due to the urgent nature of the situation, we implore everyone to share this plea for help, enabling more kind-hearted individuals to extend their support. Thank you.
