A smart and studious boy has been deaf since childhood, and his aunt who raised him cannot afford his hearing aids. We sincerely call upon everyone to donate for him.
We earnestly request the help of the enthusiastic public by donating RM4,785 to help the retired aunt buy hearing aids for her 8-year-old boy, ALEXIS TAN YENG CHENG so that he can study and live normally in order to have a brighter future.
YENG CHENG is a poor child, and his aunt TAN MOY LAN took over raising him when he was one month old. When YENG CHENG was a few months old, his aunt discovered that the child had hearing problems and had to start wearing hearing aids. His hearing did not improve, let alone his speaking until he was about 3 years old.
Aunt said that YENG CHENG’s learning ability is very good, and his teachers often praise him. However, the hearing aid in his left ear has been damaged and completely inoperable after many years of use, causing him to have hearing problems during school, especially in a noisy environment, which gradually affects learning.
Just five years ago, in 2017, when the child was 3 years old, the boy underwent deafness surgery (sensorineural hearing loss, cochlear implant). His aunt is very grateful for the help of many kind people at that time so that the child can regain his hearing and start learning to speak. YENG CHENG’s right ear is using a cochlear implant, while his left ear is using a PHONAK NAIDA Q30 UP hearing aid.
The left ear hearing aid has been damaged after 5 years of use. Since his aunt is a retiree and cannot afford to buy such expensive instruments, she asked Da Ai for help. She sincerely hopes that crowdfunding will fulfill the wish to help YENG CHENG study better in school. in order to keep up with the learning progress of children of the same age.
