Case No. 1568 : He has been in this world for 9 years, but he has not been able to get up or even sit, and can only drink formula milk to save his life. We sincerely call upon everyone to help him by donating to him.
Goh Chun Yi, a 9-year-old boy, suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He can’t take care of himself. He can’t run and jump like a normal child, and he can’t eat delicious food. He can only flow formula milk into his stomach through a gastric catheter and a special machine. Special milk powder is too expensive for single mothers to afford. We sincerely call upon the enthusiastic public to donate a total of RM19,163.00 for two years of formula milk and a special floor sitter.
When mother MARY feeds her child, she must observe whether the gastric catheter is blocked or not and whether the child vomits. Her confession was heart-wrenching. She worked hard every day to take care of her child GOH CHUN YI, and every time she thought about her situation, she shed tears. When she thought that if she leaves, it would be very desolate without anyone to take care of her child. She even thought about suicide with her child.
MARY needs to endure the pain and get up at 4 am every day to prepare to set up her stall and earn some living expenses. However, when the stall is busy, she has always been worried about the condition of the child at home, but she can’t wholeheartedly take care of him at home. As the money for seeing a doctor and buying medical supplies and equipment is often not enough, she can only cry at night.
Since Goh Chun Yi was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, he has required extensive recuperation and regular follow-up by the hospital. Single mother MARY runs a stall in a restaurant to make a living by selling noodles. As she is busy earning a meager income, she is really powerless to take good care of Chun Yi. She felt guilt and self-blame, but she couldn’t give up her work. She is very miserable.
MARY suffered a stroke many years ago and was unable to move half of her body. After recovering, her right hand is still weak, which affects the speed of her cooking. The customers are all patient and willing to wait, which makes her very grateful.
In order to take care of her son Chun Yi, she will persevere to the end no matter how difficult it is. Due to her meager income and unable to cope with the formula milk powder fee and a pair of special floor sitters, she can only ask Da Ai for help and entrusted us to handle the crowdfunding of RM19,163.00. We earnestly request the public to help her and her child by participating the crowdfunding.

GOH CHUN YI, who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, received a nursing chair, which is a cheerful and good thing.
His mother MARY was moved to tears when our Da Ai social worker brought these two nursing chairs to the house of the young boy CHUN YI. She thanked the generous donors for their gifts. And Jun Yi, who is can’t speak, sat in a special chair and grinned, which greatly relieved the crowd. We hope CHUN YI will get better care so she may find peace as a single mother.
A few days earlier, MARY came and tell us she is hoping to have an air mattress so that her disabled son, who is unable to care for himself, might sleep more soundly. We also gave him the air mattress as per the mother’s request. Mother can take care her son better.
