Case No. 1538 : The newborn baby girl FAITH, who was born less than a month ago, has been diagnosed with generalized muscle weakness, and she has no strength to even the simplest breathing, so she had to stay in the ICU and rely on a machine (CPAP) to maintain her life. Her parents are unable to cope with the required medical expenses of RM60,000.00. Therefore, we earnestly request the help of the enthusiastic public by supporting the crowdfunding.
Due to the unstable condition of the baby, the doctor needs to gradually observe the condition of the baby girl. The hospital is still unable to determine when she will be discharged from the hospital, so the baby’s parents have to bear huge medical and hospital expenses. This cost is unaffordable for Lyriza, the mother who needs to take care of her children full-time and can’t find a job, and the father who works in a printing factory. Besides, the baby also needs a lot of daily necessities, such as diapers, formula milk, etc. Every expense was too much for the father to cope with.
In addition, the baby FAITH SIXTO SIMPAL now urgently needs to purchase a dedicated CPAP machine and suction machine (removal of nose and mouth secretions), such medical equipment will also be used after the baby is discharged from the hospital. However, her poor parents cannot afford to buy such medical instruments.
The baby’s parents are from the Philippines and have been working in Malaysia for the past few years. Her father, CRUELDAD, 45 years old, was a worker in a printing factory. He is the sole breadwinner of a family of three. While the baby’s mother, LYRIZA SIXTO SIMPAL, 40 years old, takes care of the children.
The baby FAITH was lying in the hospital in a precarious position. The mother could only wash her face with tears. There was no other way except to hope that the child could get well soon. The helpless parents entrusted Da Ai to assist in raising funds for the newborn baby. Since the baby has to be hospitalized for some time, and the hospital is not sure when the baby can be discharged from the hospital, after we discussed with the baby’s parents, they entrusted us to raise RM60,000.00 for the baby’s medical expenses, including necessities, and the cost of CPAP machine and suction machines that required purchase.
