49-year-old Mr. Woo See Lai has unfortunately suffered from cancer and is no longer able to work. His three children are still young, and the life of a family of five only depends on the casual work of his wife.

Although life is difficult, the family is strong to face it. As the head of the family is more urgent to receive chemotherapy to save his life, they have already tried to borrow money from their relatives and friends to raise for the fee but is still not enough.

Mr. Woo See Lai and his family live in Johor. At the end of September this year, he was sick and had a severe headache, coughing with bleeding. So he went to a specialist hospital for medical treatment and checking. The hospital report confirmed that he had nasopharyngeal cancer.

Mr. Woo went to the hospital located in Kuala Lumpur in November for further examination. The doctor confirmed that his cancer cells had spread to other parts of the body and must undergo radiotherapy and chemotherapy as soon as possible.

The news of Mr. Woo suffered from cancer made his family at a loss. Due to Mr. Woo’s meager income and the recent impact of the pandemic, he has lost income for a long time, so his wife, Lim Kim Ling, is engaged in casual labor to support the family. The three children are still young, they are only 17 years old, 15 years old, and 10 years old, respectively. They are still in school, and Mr. Woo still have to take care of his elderly mother.

Mr. Woo wants to recover from the cancer and live longer.

He and his family can’t live without each other. His wife, children, and mother all need him. He told us that he cannot easily give up the chance to survive. Hence, he hopes that everyone can help him get through this difficulty.

The doctor told Mr. Woo that he had to undergo radiotherapy and chemotherapy to get better as he was suffering from the fourth stage of cancer. However, in the face of such huge medical expenses, Mr. Woo and his wife were really at a loss. Their relatives had helped them a lot by running around to raise nearly half of the cost for him. Currently, they still owe RM40,000.

When there was no way to ask for help anymore, his relatives heard that Da Ai could help, so they got in touch with us. Mr. Woo and his wife entrusted us to launch a crowdfunding of RM40,000 for chemotherapy fees and authorized us to collect donations from all over the country. Therefore, we hope that everyone will save the precious life with us by donating for Mr. Woo so that he and his family can get through this difficulty.

Thanks to the generous donation of RM40,000 to Woo See Lai for the treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer, the crowdfunding reached the target, and the donation was stopped.
After several months of treatment, he told us that his physical condition has improved significantly, and the doctor also told him that the index of cancer cells has also decreased. He has gained new hope and is really very happy.
