Description
“11-year-old Nur Rabiatul suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. We urge everyone to donate.”
Nur Rabiatul Adawiyah Binti Azman is studying in SK (P) Methodist 1 Malacca. She had a high fever and fainted in school not too long ago. The doctor diagnosed her as having Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and her mother was devastated by the news. It pains her to witness her lovely daughter admitting to the hospital for treatments. Malaysia General Hospital diagnosed that she needs two years of chemotherapies to recover.
Nur Rabiatul does not come from a wealthy family; She is the 3rd daughter of 40-year-old mother of four Zainon Omar. To rub salt into the wound, Zainon is going through a divorce process with her husband.
Since Zainon has to take care of her daughter, she is unable to work and support her four children in Malacca. Through a friend’s introduction, she has entrusted us to crowdfund and collect donations on behalf of her across Malaysia.
Nur Rabiatul’s uncle suffers from kidney disease for 15 years and is required to go to dialysis thrice a week. In addition to his own dialysis, sending his niece to HKL for regular treatments also means he will be exhausted. Hence, our help is required.
Nur Rabiatul’s Uncle’s dialysis fees are paid by PERKESO. However, the petrol fees and tolls to send his niece and sister to HKL are a huge burden to him. Besides, they could not afford to pay the accommodation fees during his niece’s follow-up.
Based on the medical report issued by both Hospitals Kuala Lumpur and Melaka, Nur Rabiatul is required to have one chemotherapy in three weeks, with each session (Chemotherapy and Accommodation) costs RM600 while her uncle requires a total of RM100 (Petrol Fee and Toll) for every trip to HKL. Nur Rabiatul’s treatment duration is 2 years.
We urge everyone to donate to 11-year-old Nur Rabiatul for her medical and living expenses. Thank you.
