Description

Mr. Fang Wei Khye was unable to work to support his family because of cataracts in both eyes. The life of a family of six is already in trouble. He decided to undergo cataract surgery but suffered from a lack of financial means. Therefore, we call upon everyone to donate to help Mr. Fang with his medical and surgical expenses and living expenses for his four children.

Fang Wei Khye and his wife Chua Geok Wan have four young daughters. The oldest is only 4 years old and the youngest is 7 months old. Because of cataracts in his eyes, he was unable to continue his air-conditioning maintenance work, so the family is already in financial trouble. He can’t even cope with the baby’s milk powder fee and is impossible to cope with the operation fee of No-Blade Cataract Surgery. For the survival and future of the family, the couple turned to us for help. Therefore, we call upon everyone to help them to overcome their difficulties.

39-year-old Mr. Fang Wei Khye suffered cataracts in his eyes in 2019. He was unable to continue his air-conditioning repair work and was unable to cope with the cataract surgery fees. He could only go to a government hospital for a follow-up treatment in March 2020. He has lost his job due to eye disease, and his income has become a problem, forcing him to move many times with his family of six, including four young daughters. Currently, he is renting a house in Klang, Selangor. The monthly rent is RM300.

Mr. Fang Wei Khye and his 30-year-old wife Chua Geok Wan have four daughters. They are 4 years old, 3 years old, 2 years old, and 7 months old. Because the children are still young, his wife cannot go out to work and can only stay at home to be a housewife to take care of the children.

Although Mr. Fang Wei Khye as the head of the family, is constantly seeking changes and breakthroughs, he still cannot stabilize his life and has been facing the difficulty of supporting his family. After receiving his call for help, we visited them in January 2021 and provided them with material assistance to reduce their burden of life. His wife, Chua Geok Wan, also asked for milk powder and diapers for the children. However, Mr. Fang knows very well that he is the head of the family, and he must first cure the cataract in both eyes before he can work to support his family. Only in this way can he change the current situation.

Mr. Fang Wei Khye asked us for help, hoping to help him undergo the cataract surgery for both eyes. In this way, his family of six has hope. Mr. Fang and his wife have entrusted DaAi to launch crowdfunding and collect donations from all over the country to help them.

We call upon everyone to help this family. We also hope that everyone can share this post so that more kind people can help Mr. Fang and his wife through their difficulties. Thank you.

【Update 7 oct 2021】

Thanks to people from all over the country for generously donating Mr. Fang Wei Khye’s medical and surgical expenses and the milk powder fee of RM26,621.00 for his four children, so that his family of six can survive the difficult situation. The crowdfunding reached the standard and stopped donating.

Accompanied by us, Mr. Fang Wei Khye has gone to the eye hospital for the final examination before the operation. The doctor confirmed that Fang Wei Khye’s cataract is not as common as everyone knows. The cornea has completely lost its function, and the myopia has reached more than 1000 degrees because of the failure to take good care of it after the injury. Therefore, this time it is necessary to check whether the retina behind the cornea is injured during the operation. If the situation is serious, additional treatment is required.
