Description
“To save his life, premature infant Jayden Samuel needs to be hospitalised for three months. He is currently using a respirator”
Jayden Samuel A/L Kumaresan was born a month ago. As he is a premature infant (Delivered at six months), many of his internal organs are not fully grown. With a weight of only 1kg, he must be sent to the hospital for observations and treatments for three months. He may require longer observations and treatments should his conditions do not improve. The hospitalisation and medical expenses are estimated at RM350 a day, thus a total of RM31,500 is needed for 90 days of hospitalisations and medications.
Little baby boy Jayden is having issues at his brain, heart and lung areas. He must rely upon a respirator to breathe; there are also atrial septal defects (Holes) at Jayden’s heart and fragile nerves. If his movement is not carefully controlled, then cerebral haemorrhage (Bleeding at the brain area) will occur. With the baby now struggling to live, his parents can do very little to save his life.
Jayden is still at a critical period, so we would like to gather help and wishes for him, with the hope that he can survive this crisis.
Jayden was born in University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. His hospitalisation and medical expenses from 18th June to 12th July is RM7,215. Due to his father’s financial ability, his father can only afford to pay RM5,000. With an outstanding balance of RM2,215 and a tougher road ahead, Jayden’s father does not have the money to cover three months of medical expenses for him.
Jayden’s father, Kumaresan A/L Marimuthu (30 years old) and Yogeswari A/P Letchumanan (30 years old) are a finance executive and a housewife respectively. Yogeswari had a rupture on her amniotic sac due to a bacterial infection, causing her to give birth to a premature infant, that is, Jayden. They are living in a rented house at Subang Jaya, Selangor.
Jayden is the sweetheart firstborn of Kumaresan and his wife. However, due to the premature delivery and many health issues that came after, their happiness has been cut short and are desperately finding ways to help their son.
Kumaresan is so helpless and worried now as he cannot afford hospitalisation and medical fees for his son in the next three months. After a discussion with his wife, they decided to entrust Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Da Ai Malaysia to crowdfund and to collect charity funds all across Malaysia on behalf of them.
Crowdfunding for a Year RM40,771 (RM2,215 + RM31,500 + RM7,056)
Persatuan Kebajikan Amal Da Ai Malaysia call upon enthusiastic philanthropists to lend a hand to little Jayden who is going through hardships. Your donation is highly appreciated as this will help him to overcome these hurdles.
